Mr. Watson is a director for CarVal Investors, responsible for managing investments in special opportunities in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Since the late 1980s, Mr. Watson has been a leader in the field of the restructuring of the insurance and reinsurance businesses. Prior to joining CVI, he held director positions within the PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Insurance Restructuring practice and more recently at a leading business specializing in the acquisition and management of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance companies. Mr. Watson is a Canadian Chartered Accountant. He received his master's degree in Business from the McMaster University and his bachelor's degree in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University, both in Ontario Canada.
