Mr. Balick is a senior managing director for CarVal Investors. Based in London, Mr. Balick leads the real estate investment activities of CarVal in Europe. Prior to joining CVI in 1997, Mr. Balick was a vice president in the Real Estate Investment Banking unit of Salomon Brothers in Europe. Mr. Balick received an MBA with specialization in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. in Mathematics from the Washington Square University College at New York University.
