Mr. Malpica is a director for CarVal Investors. Based in London, Mr. Malpica is responsible for managing real estate investments in various European countries, with emphasis in Germany and Spain. Prior to joining CVI in 2004, Mr. Malpica was head of corporate development/M&A, for Fondo de Valores Inmobiliarios, a portfolio company of Equity Group of Chicago. Also, Mr. Malpica has been M&A advisor at UBS Warburg in London and project manager at Procter & Gamble Latin America with global and regional responsibilities. Mr. Malpica is fluent in Spanish, English, German and conversant in French. Mr. Malpica holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (CUM-LAUDE) from Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas-Venezuela.
