Mr. Vorbrich is a senior partner with CarVal Investors, a member of the executive team and is responsible for CarVal Investors' global real estate and loan portfolio businesses. Mr. Vorbrich is responsible for global investments in real estate and portfolios of credit-intensive, sub-performing and non-performing assets. Mr. Vorbrich joined Cargill’s Law Department in 1994 where his practice supported Cargill Value Investment. He transferred to CVI in 1997 and relocated to Japan in 1998 to help establish the Japan Value Investment business. Prior to joining Cargill, Mr. Vorbrich practiced law in Minneapolis with the Banking/Commercial Group of Faegre & Benson. Mr. Vorbrich received his MBA with a concentration in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, his JD from the University of Michigan Law School and his AB from Dartmouth College. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
