Mr. Birnie is a managing director for CarVal Investors. Based in London, Mr. Birnie is responsible for managing investments in non-performing loan portfolios and insurance run-off in the United Kingdom and Spain. Mr. Birnie received his MBA specializing in Finance from London Business School and his B.Sc. in Economics from University College London.
