Mr. Schiffler is a managing director for CarVal Investors. Mr. Schiffler joined CVI in 1993 and has experience managing investments in consumer debt including credit cards, installment loans, telecommunications receivables, utility receivables and automotive deficiencies. Currently, Mr. Schiffler manages investments and relationships within the U.S. consumer business, working with more than 15 sellers, including large financial institutions and nine asset managers. He also manages a team of six investment professionals focused on investments in consumer loan portfolios in the U.S. Mr. Schiffler received his MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota and his BS from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota.
