Ms. Luo is an associate with CarVal Investors, responsible for managing investments in asset-backed securities and residential mortgage assets. Prior to joining CVI in 2007, Ms. Luo was a senior analyst with GMAC ResCap in the risk, valuation and analytics group, where she provided analytical support to monitor risk of distressed assets. In addition, she was responsible for valuation of subprime servicing right portfolio. Previously, Ms. Luo worked as a senior economic capital analyst with US Bancorp in the Quantitative Research Group. Ms. Luo has a B.S. in statistics from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
