Mr. Liu is a vice president for CarVal Investors, responsible for managing investments in Greater China. Based in Shanghai, Mr. Liu joined CVI in 2006. Prior to joining CVI, Mr. Liu was with Lone Star Funds, responsible for real estate and distressed investments in the Greater China region. Mr. Liu also previously worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Salomon Brothers in New York and with Olympus Capital, a private equity firm, in its Hong Kong office. Mr. Liu received his B.S. in Economics from Wharton.
