Mr. Hicks is a managing director for CarVal Investors. Mr. Hicks manages investments in sub- and non-performing commercial and industrial loan portfolios and government receivables, as well as in aviation assets. Prior to joining Cargill in 1997, Mr. Hicks was with FirstCity Financial Corporation as Director of Portfolio Acquisition for the United States. He received his MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota and his B.A. in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota.
