Mr. Koshimizu is a managing director for CarVal Investors, responsible for managing Japanese Corporate Credit and other opportunistic investments in Japan. He started his career with Cargill in 1997 to set up CVI's Japan operation and accounting function as the first manager for CVI Japan administration. Following this, he transferred to the investment team and took the corporate credit investment manager position in January 2000. Prior to joining Cargill, Mr. Koshimizu was in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen & Co as a Certified Public Accountant in Japan. He received a B.A. in Economics from the Keio University, Tokyo, Japan.
