Mr. Malhotra is a director with CarVal Investors. Based in New Delhi (Gurgaon) India, Mr. Malhotra joined CVI in 2006 and is responsible for managing investments in loan portfolios and large distressed assets. Prior to joining CVI, Mr. Malhotra spent more than eleven years with the Financial Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in India. He led the Mumbai non-performing loan (NPL) advisory practice, consulting with the Indian government, leading financial institutions, and investors in NPL policy & strategy, transactions and restructurings. Mr. Malhotra received his MBA from Indian Institute of Management (Kolkata) and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
