Mr. Okten is a director with CarVal Investors' Corporate Securities group. Based in Singapore, Mr. Okten is responsible for managing investments in emerging markets, focusing on trades in distressed and high-yield assets. Prior to joining CarVal Investors, Mr. Okten worked with the Cargill Trade and Structured Finance group for 10 years, managing the origination and structuring of deals in emerging markets based in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Singapore offices. Prior to joining to Cargill, he worked with Arthur Andersen & Co in Istanbul, Turkey. Mr. Okten received a B.S. in management from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
