Mr. Colcord is a managing director for CarVal Investors, responsible for managing investments in Greater China. Mr. Colcord joined Cargill in 1993 in the Strategy and Business Development Group in Minneapolis, and moved to the Trade & Structured Finance Group in 1996. After one year in Singapore, Mr. Colcord moved to Shanghai in 1997 to start the Trade & Structured Finance Group's China office. In 2004, he transferred to CVI. Prior to joining Cargill, Mr. Colcord worked in the Investment Banking Department of Kidder, Peabody & Co. in New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Colcord received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his B.A. in Economics and Psychology magna cum laude from Yale College.
