Mr. Birkwood is a director with CarVal Investors. Based in London, Mr. Birkwood is responsible for managing investments in loan portfolios in the United Kingdom and Spain. Mr. Birkwood joined Cargill in 1993 in the Financial Markets Division and held several positions encompassing the accounting and risk management functions. Mr. Birkwood received his B.A. in Economics & Econometrics from the University of Nottingham. Mr. Birkwood is a Chartered Management Accountant.
